The range runs across three numbered brisling: No. 1 is beech wood smoked with organic heather and chamomile. No. 2 is straight beech smoke, clean and classic. No. 4 adds allspice and clove. All MSC-certified from the same Baltic source.
A different product category from Portuguese or Spanish sardines. The rapeseed oil is lighter, the smoke is more restrained, the botanicals are genuinely present. A good option if you want something outside the Mediterranean tradition.
